Hypnotherapists accredited by the Hypnotherapy Society (the UK’s largest Accrediting body) will only ever use hypnosis for therapeutic gains. Members will have agreed to abide by their code of conduct and ethics.

Each hypnotherapy session will be personalised to improve the health and wellbeing of the individual and target that individualist’s needs. Targeted suggestions replacing negative beliefs with positive beliefs in tune with the individual’s belief system and directly to the subconscious mind have a fantastic success rate.

Obvious detrimental habits such as smoking and nail biting can be dealt with in one single session. The individual must be motivated to want to change their habits for themselves not to please someone else.

In today’s society the true art of relaxation is nearly lost, time constraints and changes in our culture and life styles have added to this. The intense relaxation hypnotherapy provides is extremely beneficial in dealing with stress related symptoms while positive suggestions will tackle the causes of the stress.

Problems with multi factional causes might need more sessions, such as weight control, anxieties or confidence building.

Suggestion therapy is the most widely used method in hypnotherapy.

When you hear the term 'hypnotherapy' used in the media, they are (most often) referring to this type of therapy.

The type of suggestion given will depend on the symptoms you need help with. If you want to quit smoking, a typical suggestion would be 'you will feel a huge sense of pride and pleasure now you are a non smoker' or 'you will find it easy to live your life as a non smoker'.

Note that ALL suggestions given will be completely positive, and worded very carefully in order to get the very best results.

This type of therapy session is ideal for: smokers wishing to quit, a person suffering from pre-test nerves, someone wanting help with their driving test, nail biting, anxieties, fears, enuresis (bedwetting), other detrimental habits and help with pain control.

Stress management, Sport performance, increased memory, weight reduction, weight control and accelerated healing can all be achieved by suggestions via hypnotherapy.

And we can also add; increasing self esteem, self belief and self confidence, increasing motivation, and ego boosting to our never ending list.
